Monumento a forma di piramide con stella al Belvedere della Stella, iscrizione commemorativa.

On this imposing rocky mass stands the “Pyramid” topped by a “Star,” a monument in fine stone, created and then inaugurated on 1.2.1966 by the “stonemasons” of San Valentino, Camillo Aloisio (the star) and Silvino Antinucci (the pyramid), in honor of the fallen of the two world wars.

In 1989, a true Monument to the Fallen was subsequently created, placed at the base of the belvedere towards Largo San Nicola, by Enzo Esposito and again by Silvino Antinucci, based on a drawing by Enzo's father, Gennarino, and on a project by engineer Marzio Pelaccia.

Among the works of certain artistic interest is the imposing sarcophagus of Monsignor Domenico Coia, Archpriest of San Valentino, created by Enzo Esposito in 1954.
The raw material was extracted from the Riparo and Trovigliano quarries, now disused, and used for the construction of houses, portals, floors, churches throughout the region, thus giving rise to an activity particularly important for the local economy, where, until the 1950s in San Valentino, several “stone craftsmen” operated, belonging to the Antinucci, Montepara, Maranca, Renani, De Sanctis, and Aloisio families. Currently, the activity is carried out by the stonemasons Silvino Di Giambattista and Giampaolo Antinucci. From the belvedere you can admire the entrance to the village, with a magnificent view of the Val Pescara.
